Kerala sarees and mundu are one-size garments, but knowing the measurements helps you drape with confidence.

Saree Measurements

Our kasavu sarees follow the traditional Kerala dimensions:

Saree Length	5.5 – 6.2 metres
Saree Width	1.15 – 1.22 metres (45 – 48 inches)
Blouse Piece	0.8 metres, attached (where included)

Settu Mundu (Two-Piece)

The traditional two-piece set consists of the mundu (lower garment) and the neriyathu (upper drape):

Mundu	2 metres × 1.2 metres
Neriyathu	2.25 metres × 1.2 metres

Draping Tips

Kerala cotton drapes best after the first gentle wash, which softens the starch used in weaving. For weddings and festive occasions, many prefer the saree lightly starched for a crisp, structured pleat. If you are between blouse sizes, we recommend taking the attached blouse piece to your local tailor for a perfect fit.
